Project Overview

This project involved comprehensive site improvements including demolition, excavation, structural construction, and electrical system upgrades. The scope included paint repairs, removal of VCT flooring and existing wooden shelves, demolition of stem walls, and removal of framed exterior walls behind the ready line. Excavation was carried out for new column foundations, followed by installation of formwork and reinforcing steel for both column footings and booth stem walls. Concrete was poured for the column foundations, with finishing and grading completed to meet design elevations. A new control booth was constructed, including structural framing, installation of booth windows and doors, gypsum work, and sheeting. Structural activities also included erection of beams and columns, installation of two entrance metal gates, and placement of handrails for booth stairways. Additional masonry work consisted of CMU wall construction, installation of positioning barriers, and related finishing work. Electrical upgrades included replacement of the existing electrical panel and lighting system, improvements to electrical distribution, installation of a dimmer switch, wiring for row three lighting, installation of four switches, and placement of 2-inch PVC conduits to support the new electrical infrastructure. The completed project enhanced structural integrity, functionality, and overall operational efficiency of the facility.
